To identify if a diamond is real or fake, its very simple. Take a blank piece of paper. Make a dot in the paper with a pen. Now place the table of diamond on the dot. Table of diamond is the top portion of a diamond. Or keep the diamond upside down. Place the diamond at the centre of dot. In a fake diamond you will see a circular reflection of that dot through the pavilion. A real diamond will break up the reflection which is unnoticeable to naked eye.
